A manufacturing partner built around thermal engineering
HeatsinkMaker was founded to solve a specific problem: thermal designs that look good on paper but fail in volume production. Our team combines mechanical engineers, tooling specialists, and process technicians who work from the drawing stage through first article, pilot run, and mass production.
We support aluminum and copper heat sinks across extrusion, die casting, skiving, forging, CNC machining, and bonded fin construction. For higher heat flux applications we design and manufacture cold plates, micro-channel liquid cooling plates, and complete liquid cooling loops with leak testing and flow validation.
Every project is managed with a single point of contact, a defined DFM review, and a documented quality plan. That means fewer surprises between prototype approval and the production line, and a thermal solution that performs the same in unit 10,000 as it did in unit one.
What we manufacture
A vertically integrated process chain covering forming, machining, joining, finishing, and thermal validation — so critical tolerances and surface finishes stay under one roof.
Extruded Heat Sinks
High VolumeCustom die profiles from 10 mm to 300 mm width, with secondary cutting, CNC machining, and surface treatment for LED, power supply, and inverter applications.
Skived & Bonded Fin
High DensityFin thickness down to 0.2 mm with high aspect ratios for dense thermal loads. Bonded fin assemblies support mixed materials and complex base geometries.
Cold Plates
Liquid CoolingFriction-stir welded and vacuum-brazed cold plates with internal channel design, pressure testing, and flow rate validation for IGBT, EV, and data center cooling.
CNC Machining
Precision3-axis and 4-axis machining centers for flatness control, threaded interfaces, mounting patterns, and tight tolerance features on aluminum and copper parts.
Die Casting
Complex FormAluminum die casting for integrated housings and heat sink enclosures, with tooling design support, porosity control, and post-cast machining.
Thermal Interface & Assembly
TurnkeyTIM application, heat pipe embedding, fan and hardware integration, and complete assembly with functional testing before shipment.
Manufacturing tolerances
Typical capability ranges for production tooling. Tighter tolerances are available on request and confirmed during DFM review.
Engineering note: flatness and base thickness have the largest impact on contact resistance. Share your thermal budget and we will recommend the most cost-effective process route.
| Parameter | Standard | Precision |
|---|---|---|
| Base Flatness | 0.10 mm | 0.03 mm |
| Fin Thickness | 0.5 mm | 0.2 mm |
| Machined Tolerance | ±0.10 mm | ±0.02 mm |
| Surface Roughness | Ra 3.2 | Ra 0.8 |
| Max Part Length | 1200 mm | 1500 mm |
| Prototype Lead Time | 10–15 days | 5–7 days |
